THE ARTIST:
George Mercado, a former graffiti artist with roots in the 1980s–1990s Flushing New York City graffiti scene, was part of the movement that helped bring street art from subway cars and neighborhood walls into galleries, fashion, and commercial design.
George, a professional graphic and multimedia artist of 30 yrs, closed his graphics studio in 2024 to pursue his relationship with God and his passion for paintiong. Situated in South Florida, his work is featured in corporate businesses, private homes, and occasional galleries.
He markets his work on various social media accounts, but mainly on Tiktok.

George is a prayer and baptism leader at his local church. He is a devoted
Christian, husband and father, A man who takes pride in his relationship with the Lord, and who would not hesitate to pray over someone in need anywhere.
He believes that you will not be judged in the end on what car you drove, what home you owned, or how much money was in your bank account. But rather, on how many lives you have positively touched and inspired along the way.
